Reports & audit trail
See which work pays, and who changed what
Reports come from the same jobs and invoices your team already works in, so there is nothing to compile. Every important change is recorded with who made it and when.
You know you are busy. You do not know if it pays.
The trucks are out every day, but at year end the margin is thinner than it should be. Which customers, which services, which jobs are the problem? Nobody can say without a week in a spreadsheet.
And when an invoice looks wrong, there is no way to see who changed it or when. So you ask around.
How Dispatch handles it
-
Income, sliced your way
Income by customer, service, work type, category, and operator, plus trends over time. Click a row to see the jobs behind it.
-
Job profitability
Revenue, expenses, and labour cost for each job, sorted so the money-losers come first. Labour cost uses the hours from the job timer and each operator's pay rate.
-
Billed versus worked
Compare the hours you billed with the hours your crews actually logged, so unbilled time shows up before month end, not after.
-
Export to CSV or PDF
Download any report as a CSV for your accountant or a PDF for the owner's desk.
-
An audit log you can search
See who did what, their role, which record it touched, and when. Filter by user, event, and date, and export it to CSV.
-
Who sees what is up to you
Operators never see reports. Owners decide who else on the team can, and the audit log is for owners and admins only.
How it works
- 1
Work as usual
Quotes, tickets, timers, expenses, invoices, and payments all land in the same system.
- 2
Open a report
Pick a date range and filters. The numbers are already there.
- 3
Dig in or export
Click into the jobs behind any number, or download it as CSV or PDF.
Fair questions.
Do I have to enter anything extra to get reports?
No. Reports are built from the quotes, jobs, timers, and invoices your team already uses every day.
How is labour cost worked out?
From the time operators log on the job timer and the pay rate you set for each operator. If an operator has no pay rate, the report tells you the cost is understated.
Can my accountant get the numbers?
Yes. Export any report as a CSV, and export invoices to QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks Online and Xero are coming soon.
What does the audit log record?
Important actions across your account, such as invoice changes and voids, payments and refunds, and rate overrides, with who did it, their role, the record, and the time.
Who can see the audit log?
Owners and admins. Dispatchers and operators cannot.
