Pressure testing

From the callout to the invoice, without the paper chase

Pressure testing work comes in fast and leaves a trail of paper: the callout, the hours, the chart, the signature. Dispatch keeps all of it on one ticket, so the invoice is ready when the crew is back in the yard.

The test passed. The paperwork did not.

A callout comes in at night. The crew heads out, runs the test, and writes the hours and the result on a ticket that rides back in the truck with the chart. The call-out fee and the after-hours rate depend on who remembers what was agreed.

By the time the office invoices it, the chart is in one pile, the ticket is in another, and the customer wants both attached before they will pay.

How Dispatch handles it

  • Callouts dispatched in minutes

Create the job, assign the crew, and they get a text with the details and a link to the ticket. No phone tag at two in the morning.

  • Call-out and after-hours rates set once

Call-out fees, after-hours rates and pressure truck hours live in your catalog, with each customer's agreed rates on their record.

  • Chart photos on the ticket

The crew photographs the chart and the setup from their phone. The photos stay with the ticket, so the office is not hunting for paper.

  • Signed before leaving site

Require a signature and the customer's rep signs on the crew's phone. Their name and signature are saved with the job.

  • Invoiced the same day

Approve the finished ticket and build the invoice from it, with the AFE, cost code and tax already on it. The customer can pay by card from the email.

How it works

  1. 1

    Log the callout

Enter the customer, location and AFE. Their call-out and hourly rates fill in.

  2. 2

    Text the crew

Assign the tester. They get the job by SMS and open the ticket from the link.

  3. 3

    Test and record

The crew runs the timer, photographs the chart, adds notes and gets a signature.

  4. 4

    Invoice it

The office approves the ticket and sends the invoice with the photos on file.

Fair questions.

Does Dispatch connect to chart recorders or record test results?

No. Dispatch is not a test data system. Crews photograph the chart and note the result on the ticket, so the record of the job and the invoice live together.

Can we charge a call-out fee plus hourly?

Yes. Add the call-out fee and the hourly rate as separate lines. Hours take decimals, so 3.25 hours bills as 3.25 hours.

Can customers have different rates?

Yes. Set a customer's agreed rate on any item once and it fills in on every quote and ticket for them.

Do our testers need a company phone?

No. Any phone that can open a text message link works. Nothing to install.
