Use case: leaving spreadsheets
Move off spreadsheets without starting from zero
Spreadsheets got you this far. But when the rates are on one tab, the jobs on another, and only one person knows the formulas, the business depends on that file. Dispatch puts customers, rates, jobs and invoices in one system, and we set it up with you.
One file, one person, one bad save
The job log is a spreadsheet. So is the rate sheet, the customer list, and the list of who owes money. They live on different laptops with names like FINAL_v3. Two people edit at once and something gets overwritten.
And when the person who built it is on holiday, nobody else can find anything.
How Dispatch handles it
-
Set up with you
We set up your services, rates and customers with you, so you start with your own price list, not a blank screen.
-
A starting catalog for your trade
Pick your type of business and Dispatch starts you with a catalog of common items you can edit.
-
Every job has a history
Each ticket keeps its status changes, notes and photos, so you can see what happened and when.
-
Who changed what
The audit log records changes with who made them and when. No more guessing who overwrote a cell.
-
Your data comes back out
Export tickets, invoices and reports to CSV whenever you want.
-
Your books stay where they are
Invoices export to QuickBooks Desktop today, with QuickBooks Online and Xero coming soon.

Fair questions.
Can I import my old spreadsheets?
There is no self-serve import today. We set up your services, rates and customers with you, and your old files stay as the archive for past jobs.
Will I lose my history?
No. Your old spreadsheets stay yours. From the day you start, every job, invoice and payment in Dispatch is kept with its full history.
How long does it take?
Most companies are dispatching real jobs within a day or two. There is no six-month project.
Can I get my data out later?
Yes. Tickets, invoices and reports export to CSV.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can use a spreadsheet, you can use Dispatch. The office works in a browser and crews use a link on their phone.
